The Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is a voluntary residential treatment program designed as an alternative to inpatient care.

The CSU provides a safe and secure environment for individuals who are at risk of harming themselves or others. The program’s primary focus is on rapid psychiatric stabilization, active treatment, and timely reintegration with caregivers and community support systems.

CSU clients receive individualized care plans. Crisis resolution methods include psychiatric evaluations, administration and monitoring of medication, medication education, personal and group counseling, and nursing services.
